Updates included with current access
Current individual access includes available updates for that selected strategy. All Inclusive includes available updates for all included strategies and access to future released strategies. Current free access includes the updates made available for its free product.
This describes access to releases that are actually published. It does not guarantee a development timetable, a requested feature, an improvement in returns or continued support for every old platform version. A new product is not necessarily an update to a strategy you individually subscribed to.
Check the release before downloading
- Compare the package version shown on the licence page with the version currently installed.
- Read release notes for parameter changes, compatibility requirements and installation instructions.
- Check whether performance shown on the details page relates to the same release and settings.
- Record your configuration before changing the installed package. Follow the release instructions if parameter names or defaults changed.
Update carefully
Packages are not silently installed into your desktop by the website. An expired subscription does not grant a newly released paid update. Retaining an older file also does not bypass the licence requirement for that file.
- Check current access and download the entitled protected package from the strategy's licence page.
- Choose a time when you can manage the strategy's actual orders and positions. Follow NinjaTrader and product guidance before replacing installed software.
- Follow the release-specific import or replacement process. Do not delete unrelated NinjaScript assemblies to fix a conflict.
- Restart if instructed, verify the installed version and review the configuration.
- Test the new release in simulation before deciding to resume live use.
