Review the whole strategy
- Read the description, supported instruments and settings before focusing on the headline return.
- Review the historical period, data source, drawdown, equity curve, trade history and available performance and risk analysis.
- Check whether the displayed history is backtest-only or has a separately identified forward or live-derived period.
- Review release notes. Compare results for the same release, settings and data period where that information is available.
- Check the free-access terms, package availability and actual subscription price on the licence page.
The same release can produce different results
You run your own copy independently. Data feeds, parameters, trading hours, chart construction, commissions, slippage, order fills, account size and connectivity can all affect the outcome. Our published run does not control your run.
Backtested and hypothetical performance is not your account record and does not guarantee future returns. A positive net profit does not remove the risk of losses. Use the calculation guide to understand what the reported metrics represent.
What the trade and position panels show
The details page describes the published strategy data. Its trade list and any displayed Open Positions belong to that data source; they are not a view of your broker account or instructions to copy an order. Monitor your actual orders, executions and positions in NinjaTrader.
Some analysis panels load when opened or brought into view. This keeps the initial chart responsive. An unopened panel is not evidence that the strategy has no history or risk data.
